Annually, our law enforcement officers pair up with local children to do some holiday shopping. This event benefits the kids and officers alike. The children get to see the personal side of an officer and interact in a one-to-one setting, which helps build trust.

The officers meet the children in the morning and eat breakfast together. After breakfast, the kids get to ride in a patrol vehicle to do their shopping at local businesses. It is a chance for the officers to give back to their community and donate their time to a child in need.

Many thanks to those who have helped. If you are interested in helping a child get the opportunity to shop with a cop, donations can be brought into the Sheriff’s Office at 750 South 5300 West, Hurricane, Utah. Receipts will be given for donations.
