Sheriff’s Office Honors Top Performers

On December 13th, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office held their annual awards banquet at the Washington County Fairgrounds. The Sheriff’s Office had many outstanding performers this year, and a select few were honored during this banquet. Among those included:

Corrections Deputy of the Year:   Deputy Clint Aldred
Patrol Deputy of the Year:   Deputy Wes LiCalzi
Civilian Employee of the Year:   RN Dean Monson
Corrections Supervisor of the Year:   Sergeant Jenni Shoemaker
Patrol Supervisor of the Year:   Sergeant Danny Kroff
Reserve Employee of the Year:   Mackenzie Utter

In addition to our annual awards, several staff members were also recognized for their exemplary service during specific incidents which occurred this past year. They included:

Life Saving Awards: Reserve Deputy Jeff Cheek
Deputy Rick Massey
Deputy Satuli Tafili
Sergeant Dan Wright

Metal of Merit:   Deputy Dave Crouse
Sheriff’s Star:   Reserve Deputy Alan Dressler

Finally, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office has an extensive physical fitness program, which is emphasized and supported by Administration. The program is highlighted by a year long competition that is measured for score during the Spring and the Fall. During the banquet, several staff members were recognized for their distinguished efforts in the individual events. They included:
