The Purgatory Correctional Facility utilizes volunteers from the general public to assist with services, including programs for inmates. The following are some of the services and programs that volunteers assist with:
- Mental health services;
- Medical services;
- Religious services;
- Legal assistance;
- Library services;
- Tutors;
- Recreation programs;
- Exercise programs; and
- Treatment programs.
Volunteers help reduce the operating costs for PCF and provide otherwise unavailable service and programs.
