Washington County Sheriff’s Office Honors Employee of the Quarter and Retiring Deputy

On February 13th, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office honored Deputy Jack Nyman as our Employee of the Quarter for the final quarter of 2014 (October-December). During that time, Deputy Nyman did an exceptional job in his duties while assigned to our Support Services Division. He is an extremely hard working and knowledgeable deputy with over 17 years of experience. Deputy Nyman is known for his professionalism and is well-liked and respected by both the inmates and the staff at PCF. Please join us in congratulating Deputy Nyman and in recognizing him for his efforts.

During the same ceremony, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said goodbye to Deputy Gary Stokes, who retired after 20+ years of service. Deputy Stokes joined the Sheriff’s Office on October 31, 1994, and, although he will be missed, we wish him the best of luck as enters a new and exciting phase of his life. Please join us in thanking Deputy Stokes for the considerable service he has provided to this community and in wishing him well moving forward.
