On April 3rd, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said goodbye to Deputy Jess Frazier, who retired after 20+ years of service. Deputy Frazier joined the Sheriff’s Office on September 1, 1994, and, although he will be missed, we wish him the best of luck as enters a new and exciting phase of his life. Please join us in thanking Deputy Frazier for the considerable service he has provided to this community and in wishing him well moving forward.

During the same ceremony, the Sheriff’s Office honored Deputy Stephen Mock as our Employee of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2015 (January-March). During that time, Deputy Mock did an outstanding job in his duties while assigned to our Support Services Branch; however, he was nominated primarily because of the contributions he made to the Housing Branch. Deputy Mock looks to help out wherever he is needed, and this often results in his crossing the boundaries between the many different branches within the Sheriff’s Office. One example was how heavily Mock supported the Housing Branch as he assisted with a large portion of the PCF inmate classifications during that time. Although his willingness to assist is greatly appreciated, it is the quality of his assistance where the greatest benefits can be found. Deputy Mock brings a unique and commendable level of character and work ethic to the organization everyday. Please join us in congratulating Deputy Mock and in recognizing him for his efforts.
