Sheriff’s Office Honors Top Performers

On 12/12/13, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office held their annual awards banquet at the Washington County Fairgrounds. The Sheriff’s Office had many outstanding performers this year, and a select few were honored during this banquet. Among those included:

Corrections Deputy of the Year: Deputy Danny Milne
Patrol Deputy of the Year: Deputy Jeremiah Ray
Civilian Employee of the Year: Sherrie Maxwell
Corrections Supervisor of the Year: Sergeant Brian Linton
Patrol Supervisor of the Year: Sergeant Dave Crouse
Reserve Employee of the Year: Akasha Lawrence

In addition to our annual awards, one staff member, Deputy Nolan Gray, was also recognized for his exemplary service during an incident which occurred this past year. As such, Deputy Gray was awarded the Sheriff’s Star for his performance.

Finally, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office has an extensive physical fitness program, which is highly emphasized and supported by Administration. The program is highlighted by a year long competition that is measured for score during the Spring and the Fall. The winners were recognized during the banquet for their distinguished efforts in the individual events. They included:
